–But if I were, I’d want the BumbleRide.

This sleek and stylish stroller has many virtues, but high on my approval list is it’s ability to face the baby inward OR out toward the world. Research suggests that facing inward toward the caregiver is a much better alternative than facing an uncertain world.
Being a sling enthusiast, I have a tendency to think that there isn’t a better tool than one German-style woven wrap (or my 4th Generation Beco because it was my first “real” carrier), BUT I also assert that on a very basic level, all parenting tools are equal. If we approach our parenting behaviors and tools with a great level of awareness, do our research, and make decisions based on what work for US as parents, then every tool we utilize should ultimately benefit our lives in some way (and hopefully for the long run).
Plus, it would be totally easy for me to say I’ll never use a stroller, but I’ve only got one child aged one and a half. There’s a lot of things I could make declarations about, and I might then have to eat my words. Parenting is all about adaptation because no matter how terrible or how wonderful, whatever stage it is will pass . . . sometimes in an eyeblink, only to be realized in hindsight.
That being established that I am not a total babywearing fanatic — er, perhaps not an UNREASONABLE babywearing fanatic — I wouldn’t mind winning a Bumbleride stroller.
I’m entering to win a Bumbleride Flyer as we speak, and you can too! Remember, if you don’t win one, you can always console yourself by buying a sling or carrier and nurturing your baby hands-free and able to venture where no stroller can!
Check out the FrogMama on my sidebar. (She really does sell great baby carriers, and her clearance section is always worth checking.) If you want to know more about slings and carriers in general, register on TheBabyWearer.com for all the support and answers you’ll need to start slinging in style!
Good luck and good night!
